NTHK Papered Shinto Katana In Mint Gunto Mounts
This is very nice Kanbun shinto katana in mint gunto mounts complete with its tassel. The fittings are a very rare variant of gunto mounts with the patent pending on the kojiri of the saya. I have owned and sold many sword and this is only the second sword I have had in this style of mount. The sword is unsigned and has a cutting edge that is 27 1/4" long. The blade is in almost full polish. It received a paper last weekend in Chicago from the NTHK. They papered it to Echizen school.
