While traveling in Japan I love to stay at Japanese guest houses they are inexpensive and a nice way to meet people.  In Kyoto one I like is called Bon Kyoto Guest House and costs about $20 per night.

Brian is a very talented and great guy and really quite known in the art world. He recently started to do archive illustrations and his paintings are so lifelike its difficult to tell that they are not photographs.  He will paint your armor or valuables the way museums used to archive there items.  These paintings really make great art!  Check out his site his originals are quite reasonable.
