A beautiful Large Studio Porcelain Covered Baluster Vase by Makuzu Kozan
This Makuzu Kozan is a wonderful orange with mon around the top rim. The vase is signed Makuzu Kozan on the bottom and is also signed Makuzu Kozan on the lid. There is also whiting on the side but I have not translated it yet. It stands 13 1/4" high and is 5 1/4" wide. I am certain I have seen a picture of this vase in 19th century photo of one of his world exhibition.
