Blue & White Studio Porcelain Koro by Makuzu Kozan
Here is another excellent koro by Makuzu Kozan the famous Meiji period studio porcelain artist. This incense burner is done in a blue and white style with animals of the zodiac on it. This is a very unusual and rara disign for this artist and almost has a Hirado or Imari feel to it. This piece has a matching top and it is perfect condition with exception of the very top piece being broken out. I can have this fixed by a restoration expert but wanted the new owner to know about it. The inside has an old label stating the artists name probably from the gallery it was purchased from.
